Bioform Medical, makers of the injectable filler Radiesse®, received a new approval from the FDA on July 16, 2009. Based on research revealing safety, efficacy, and increased comfort, this filler when mixed with 2% Lidocaine prior to injection is no longer considered investigational and is now approved for such use.
