BOTOX approved by FDA for Crow's Feet
EXCITING NEWS!: BOTOX® Cosmetic received FDA approval this week for the indication of crow's feet. This area has been treated safely and effectively for years as an off-label application. Formal studies have led to recent FDA approval. This is the first additional area to be approved since BOTOX first received FDA approval back in 2002 for frown lines. Crow's feet is the starburst wrinkle pattern that fans our around the outer corners of your eyes when you smile or squint. A series of BOTOX injections in an arc around this area relaxes the tightened muscles smoothing out the overlying skin. The eyes appear more open, rested, and younger.
Here is a photo of the treatment I did on my Dad.
